The theme for my newphew's 3rd birthday was "Surfs Up". His favorite character from the movie is named "Cody Maverick".

A Strange Tree

Montara Beach - Isn't this strange? I've never seen a tree grow sideways.

Third Eye

Every where I go now, I try and find things to capture. I now know exactly what the meaning of the third eye is.

Rebellion - Dry Sauna

I am so lucky, at least, tonight I felt that way. I was able to de-stress tonight by sitting in a dry sauna. Aghhh. It was so nice! Gotta go. Might need to go into work to upload a file to a server...lol.

Reflection: A view from the top

A view from the top - the view of the Golden Gate Bridge is from the top of the hiking trail of the Marin Headlands. The views from here were unreal. I have lived in the Bay Area all my life and have never seen the bridge from this angle.

Reflection: Jobless

Definition of Jobless - Being at work with nothing to do or not working while at work. Atleast, this is how it has been described to me by a fellow ex-coworker now friend.

My only real guiltless free day off in a long while. I was truly jobless today and I was loving it!

Rebellion: Look what they did!

Well, maybe if my cube was decorated like this, this would not be my LAST day.
Yes, all good things must come to an end...i suppose.
I will miss the spirit and creativity of the team!

Rebellion: Poet's Closet

Rebellion: Playing Jasmine

This weekend I went out and purchased an "acoustic guitar". I grew up playing the violin and have always wanted to get back into playing an instrument. I went with the guitar because I am use to the strings. Violin = strings..... Guitar= strings. Along with my purchase of this Takamine guitar I also purchased "The complete IDIOT's guide to playing a guitar. I am planning on teaching myself how to play, however, I already know where i can get lesson if need be.
So my new hobby has begun, I am learning what is a guitar, the neck, the heal, the bridge, the sound hole, the rib/side. My first exercise is "The left hand" man is it hard. Wish me luck!

Rebellion: Wet Dog

Meet Lucy. She is my first. She is a beautiful
Chocolate Labrador. We've had her since she
was six weeks old. She is now: 3 years old.
This Easter she took a bath. However, I think
I got more wet than her. She hates baths.
She also loves rawhides..but it takes her sometime
to find her perfect spot under the dinner table to eat it.

Rebellion: My favorite drive

I use to live on the side of the bridge where the city light shined thru my window. I use to live on the side of the bridge of one of the biggest tourist locations in the world. I now live on the other side. I live on the side of the bridge where the city lights don't shine. I love both sides of the bridge don't get me wrong.

I am now a visitor of this great city by the bay. There are so many places I remember. Here on the left is one of them. Twin Peaks. Greatest views of San Francisco, when there is no fog! There was plenty of fog on this day, but it was nice. The fog was like a blanketed some the house only giving you a partial visit of its beauty.

Reflection: My view of Elizabeth

Lake Elizabeth is only a few blocks away from my home. On this day, I decided to ride my bike around her 3 mile radius. It was a perfect day for this. A cool 70 degrees at around 7pm. The sun was coming down and a cool breeze ran through me as I spun my way towards her. A small amount of stop signs here and red lights there and I was there in no time.

As you approach many of her winding paths, many colorful trees adorn the waters edge. Red, green and more green reach stretch towards the water.

This tree below is the same red tree as shown above. The magic of the setting sun to change the appearance of the same object while making its orbit around the earth.

Pedestrians 10 POINTS! Bike riders, dog walkers, baby strollers, roller bladders, there is room for everyone.

No time to sit on this day. As exercise was my main focus. But the view from this bench out towards the setting sun...is... inspirational!

Feed them and they will come! The amount of birds reminds me of the plaza in Venice with all the birds. I wonder where they sleep once the sun goes down and the last visitor leaves for the night.

Rebellion : Girls Gone Wild: NOPE!

Girls gone wild. It looks like it. But no! It was the scene at the RR concert. Robert Randolph concert in SF on Friday night. I don't remember what song was on but he invited all the ladies up on stage. His fans are a mixed group let me tell you. Girls representing many different decades were
up there. 60's all the way through now and they each represented their time in fashion and dance moves.
His concert was long 3hrs or it felt that way. My favorite song he sings is "Ain't nothing wrong". He sang this song last but it was worth the wait. I was even able to discover new music. His opening act Ryan Shaw - song "We got Love".
